Over the years we have developed a process that insures our customers consistently receive the correct amount of high-quality firewood. Watch the following video to see why we rise above our competition.
We Hand Stack and Measure Every Order
Separated Customer Orders
Our delivery trucks keep orders separated to insure customers receives the correct volume of firewood.
Unlike many competitors, Lumberjacks uses a kiln to dry firewood. This is an extra step on our process to insure our customers receive only the best product.
Advantages of Kiln-Dried Wood:
Easy to start on fire
Produces a hotter fire with enhanced flames (more flicker and movement)
Insect and pest free for safe storage
Reduction of creosote buildup in your chimney or flu
Reduction of dangerous emissions
Don’t Get Burned
Many crooked firewood dealers will take advantage of unsuspecting customers by delivering less wood then was paid for. You can save yourself $$$ if you pay attention to the following tips:
Never buy wood that is sold by the piece. Piece sizes vary and the smaller the pieces of wood, the less you receive.
Don’t buy firewood from a dealer that criss-cross stacks; this is the oldest trick in the book. You should understand that by offering free stacking, this firewood dealer is able to criss-cross stack the wood making it appear that you have received more wood than you actually have. When you buy wood that is criss-cross stacked you are buying air space.
