If you don't know how to calculate the Total Area in square feet, all you have to do is draw your site on a piece of graph paper, using one square to represent each foot. If your site contains portions that are not square, divide the area into combinations of rectangles, triangles, and/or circles. Use the following formulas, and then add together all areas. Use this value in the Total Area box above.

Rectangle Area = length x width

Circle Area = 3.1416 x the square of the radius

Triangle Area = 1/2 x length of base x length of height
